A six week, beginner level class aimed at teaching the basics of ceramics, from greenware to glazing. Learn about ceramics by using a slab roller to flatten out clay and then handbuilding a work of art while experimenting with different textures, stencils, and glazes. Students can make decorative tiles, egg holders, butter dishes, baskets, drape mold bowls and plates, planters, etc... Clay provides a perfect blank canvas to express yourself - the possibilities are endless! No wheel throwing required.
